Jennifer McEntire - Coco’s Fund!
Jennifer is raising support for Coco’s Fund, which helps cover veterinary expenses for pets impacted by domestic violence. This fund ensures that survivors don’t have to choose between their safety and their pets' well-being. From emergency vet care to vaccinations upon entering our shelter, Coco’s Fund keeps beloved animals safe and healthy, so no one has to leave their pets behind.
Chris Shelton – The Survivor’s Fund!
Chris represents The Survivor’s Fund, which provides direct support to survivors working to rebuild their lives. This fund helps cover critical expenses identified through safety planning, such as security deposits, car repairs, beds for a new home, or even attorney fees for legal protection.
Judge TDB = Supportive Housing Project!
TDB is advocating for our Supportive Housing Project, which expands Next Step’s existing housing options for survivors. The lack of affordable housing in Maine is a significant barrier for many people fleeing domestic violence. This project helps provide safe, stable housing so survivors don’t have to choose between homelessness and staying in danger. With your support, we can give more people the independence and security they need to build a new future.
