Gift Cards requested for families in need

During this season of giving, NextStep encourages residents of Washington and Hancock Counties to consider helping families who are using services. “Gift Cards in any amount would be helpful,” said Jasmine Bradley, Shelter Advocate. “Cards for stores that serve our local area, such as Hannaford, Wal-Mart, Dollar Tree, Family Dollar and Dollar General would be especially valuable,” she said. “We could also use a few specific items for our shelter, such as crock pots, coffee makers, and sets of plastic food containers.”
